Currently Working On “Leave Your Demons Part II”!!!

I am currently working on my sequel to my first book “Leave Your Demons”. “Leave Your Demons Part II” Will expand on the first book by talking about drug abuse and society’s view on it. the first chapter is a short pondering of “What is normal?” which discusses society’s view on drugs and violence. This first chapter is a prelude into drugs because depending where you live it’s either considered “Normal” or “Abnormal”

I’m still in the early stages of this book, but I’m excited to see what I can come up with and I hope you are as well. I hope to delve into the issues of violence, bullying, and more and provide my best advice to combat these problems that we face within society.

You can buy my first book “Leave Your Demons” along with my Poetry book “The Normal Ones” HERE: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_qz_back?sf=qz%2Crba&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3AMr+Robert+Lewis+Auchey&keywords=Mr+Robert+Lewis+Auchey&unfiltered=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1550256773

Tackling The Issue Of Substance Abuse In My New Book “Leave Your Demons Part II”

With the growing epidemic of drug abuse I feel it’s important that I tackle the issue of drugs in my upcoming book “Leave Your Demons Part II” I feel that mental illness and drug use can often be linked. To learn more about the issue of drugs I started reading a book I had picked up called “Should Drugs Be Legalized?” by Susan Neiburg Terkel and looking for other books to read to continue this chapter so please leave comments!

My First Book “Leave Your Demons” Will Make A Great Christmas Present For Anyone That Loves Philosophy Or Psychology! Available Now On Amazon!

This book is about living a healthy lifestyle… both mentally and physically. It also goes into detail about how to go about trying new things. We can improve our lives by getting proactive as human beings and start doing things physically, mentally and intellectually in order to persevere, thrive and survive in this world during tough times.Leave your demons attempts to breakdown this complicated world in a very simple, clear and direct way. What is wrong and how do we fix these things as human beings? This book will attempt to answer these questions, but make no mistake about it, this book has something for EVERYONE not just people with mental illness and it can do this because people that have a mental illness are just as human as people that do not. So, if you’re ready to improve your life by getting out and trying new things or even just get on the road to recovery from the grips of darkness look no further than this book! In this book, I will be analyzing the world around us and the problems we face in order to come up with realistic solutions to those problems which we can utilize to improve the lives of humans one reader at a time. Life is worth living, if you can find the things you’re passionate about and pursue them to the best of your ability you will find happiness, even if you’re not good at them. Why? Because at least you are expressing yourself, improving and keeping yourself pure. This book is chock full of inspirational quotes, my own personal theories (which I’ve formed by studying philosophy) and survival skills that I have come up with myself for dealing with my own depression and mania. This book works because it is written in a way that people can relate to and understand rather than something that is written from a 100% medical standpoint (though science is important and this book does explain the science of the illnesses discussed as well) Don’t get me wrong science is crucial, but this book isn’t afraid to dare to be different and you shouldn’t be afraid to be different either! This book is a gift from me to you…

I am worried about the future of DCEU films…

I’m worried about the future of DCEU films…they knocked it out of the park with Wonder Woman and Justice League (even though nobody watched Justice League for some reason), but now Henry Cavill is out as Superman AND Ben Affleck doesn’t want to do “The Batman”?! Those are their 2 biggest characters!!!!…and listen I know not all DC films were very good but why does Marvel ALWAYS get a pass? What about fan4stic? What about Electra? What about Daredevil? What about The stand alone Hulk movies? What about the original fantastic four movies?!

Famous people that have struggled with mental illness…

There are many creative geniuses and famous people that struggle with mental illness. In some cases mental illness can make a person more unique through the way they speak, act and see the world.

mental illness

Russell Brand is one of the people that I first think of when I think of someone that has a hyper-manic personality, but that’s not a bad thing… this actually draws me in and makes me more interested in him as a person. He often fidgets and changes the position he’s sitting in and always talks loudly with his hands, swinging his arms from side to side and making various facial expressions.

Russell Brand has made it known that he is bipolar and that he has struggled with drug abuse and a very unhappy childhood. I don’t know much else about Russell Brand but I’ve seen some of his movies and watched him in interviews and he is truly a unique individual.

Kurt Cobain also struggled with Depression/Bipolar Disorder and unfortunately took his life at 27 via suicide. He was a drug addict and alcoholic most of his life… mainly being a slave to the deadly drug known as heroin. I’ve read a bit about Kurt, but The main thing I know is that he has impacted my life in a HUGE way because Nirvana “The Best Of The Box” was the first CD I ever bought. The guitar playing was simple, but genius and the vocals were a yelling, screaming, harmonious sound that had taken my young ears by surprise and I LOVED IT! I just remember thinking… Well, this Kurt Cobain guy is clearly sad and so am I but he made an impact on the world by making beautiful music (no matter how simple it may have been) why can’t I?

Kurt Cobain

But Russell Brand and Kurt Cobain aren’t the only famous person that have struggled with mental illness. People like Syd Barrett from Pink Floyd have also struggled with mental illness except he struggled with schizophrenia. I don’t have schizophrenia, nor do I know much about Syd Barrett, but I’ve heard his music and seen his paintings and there is no doubt that he is truly, truly a talented individual!

Syd Barrett

I won’t and probably can not list them all but here are a few famous people that have suffered from mental illness: Edgar Allan Poe (Depression), Demi Lovato (Self image issues, eating disorder, depression), Jim Carrey (Bipolar Disorder), Amy Winehouse (Depression/Bipolar/Substance Abuse) Robin Williams (Bipolar Disorder), Chester Bennington (Depression), Oliver Sykes (Depression), Alex Gaskarth (Panic Attacks/Anxiety)

From famous actors & actresses to musicians to painters The mental illness that they often struggle with can also shape their perception, give them creative ideas and keep them in touch with concepts that most “Average People” would rather ignore, and if they escape that darkness or let it motivate them to create art that connects with people, makes people think and helps people feel less alone then that is a wonderful thing!

So, you may be asking yourself?

whatsthepoint

The point is that Mental Illness is a very common problem that effects everybody including people in the public eye that are considered FAMOUS, it is so common in fact that even in the small world of the super famous it has touched many lives. Becoming super famous is difficult and even a decent ratio of the super famous struggle with this beast called mental illness… We don’t have to be mentally ill to be famous or famous to be mentally ill, but we each matter and are not alone in this world even though we feel that we are. I am telling you that life is worth living, we are never truly alone because someone somewhere is struggling with similar things somewhere in the world!

You can do great things and still suffer with a mental illness! These people have proven that!!!!
